This time of the year must be the best ever in South Africa.
Wonderful crisp early mornings, with mist over the river and dew
covering the lawns.
As the day progresses the lazy sun makes an appearance and warms us all up.
We sit and bask in the warmth of the winter's sun.
There are families picnicking on the river, some are fishing others just playing ball games.
While others sitting and taking it all in while their braai (barbeque) fires burn happily before them.
The families who bring dogs are soon reminded by my two sentries on fence duty that it is not allowed to walk against their fence.
These are lazy days. One feels loath to go inside the house, as you are greeted by the cold and grey of the season.
My bulbs planted a few weeks back are all making their first shy appearance.
Soon there will be a blaze of colour.
We are truly blessed.

I am getting sleepy just thinking about the lazy days. It is amazing that we are going to be having summer in just a month and you guys are having winter. What a wonderful world. What a wonderful Creator.
