Winter is approaching

Seems like the wonderful balmy weather we have been having is disappearing.
The past few days have definetly got colder and today is simply awful.
Its quite amazing how I could see the cold front approaching over the sea as I drove into town.
I suppose though we need some good cold weather and we definetly need rain. In fact it is now pretty desperate.
Many small towns in the interior are without water and in fact water in being delivered to them by huge water trucks!
The wild life is also feeling the effects of the drought.
Today Dave told me there was a monkey in our garden heading up to the main house, obviously desperate and in search of food. Luckily the dogs were inside or it could have been injured. It disappeared as soon as it saw Dave. Clever little creature!
I was thinking when driving into town, that life is full of uncertainties.
You do not know if you will be here at the end of the day or not. Sounds scary, well we should always be prepared.
As the weather changes in a flash before our eyes so too can our circumstances.
So to end, are you sure of where you are headed, should your life come to an abrupt end?
